Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation Awards PPCS

Peter and Paul Community Services is excited to announce a new grant award from the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. In August 2015 we received a $17,000 grant for our Positive Directions (PD) program. Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation funds will support occupancy costs and activities that we have not been able to fund in the past such as providing durable medical equipment to PD residents with acute illnesses such as cancer, mental health counseling services for PD residents in need of intensive psychological counseling, housing application fees and medications for residents without health insurance and who are not eligible for Medicaid.

Being supported and recognized by a national foundation such as the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation is a great honor. We truly appreciate their support of and belief in our mission. We also want to recognize the Positive Directions program staff. Their ability to help clients reach their goals and track outcomes has also enabled the agency to attract national support from the MAC AIDS Fund and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
