Peter & Paul Community Services Helps Rehouse Displaced Mark Twain Hotel Residents

Why This Matters

This month, more than 160 residents of the Mark Twain Hotel in downtown St. Louis will lose their housing as the building closes. This building has historically provided below-market, week-to-week rentals for individuals who may struggle to find traditional, long-term housing options.

As the lead agency for the St. Louis City Continuum of Care (CoC), Peter & Paul Community Services (PPCS) is working with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, City of St. Louis, and community partners to help residents locate new housing and additional resources to prevent residents from falling through the cracks and into homelessness.
